The Trying Haiku

A canoe for one
Rowing past the safe harbor
Eating potatoes.

The car flipped over
Not because of any fault
The car wanted to.

Creative writing,
The gateway to stretch your words
Into non-meaning.

Cursed to live his life
He wanders through the bus stop
Only stench follows.

The many papers,
Posted throughout this hallway,
All have the same taste.

Starring at nothing
I wonder what she's thinking,
Of nothing as well?

Damn good papaya,
Unnaturally scrupulous
For it is poison

My hair is too neat
Ironically I must flaw
For hair perfection

My stomach acid
Sits inside with low pH
Burning all to shit

Tires rotating
The blue money had just sneezed.
The box is shattered

My telephone
It works in both directions
Yet one path not used

Floral printed shirts
Have no place in formal wear
Cause formal be square.

Unburdened of birth
She hath carried no longer
No plan don abort

Ice cream makes smiles
Chocolate makes over joy
Both, euphoria.

Stock Rising: Hearing Aids, Ear Doctors, Sound Canceling Engineering.

Today is the first day I have worn shorts out this year, other than the times I have done that working out.

The album I am listening to is too loud. You might say "just turn it down then", but no I am not talking about that kind of loudness. This album was mixed too loud. There is nothing that I can do to make it quieter. For the last decade or so, sound engineers have artificially turned up the volume. What you get now is an album that has a higher volume level that before at the cost of dynamic range. How they do this is they even out the 'layers' the audio. Think of layers as the different tracks, the drum, guitar, vocal, etc. I really should have just explained it like that. Then they increase the volume. Even out and repeat. Now when a singer screams out to emphasize something, it will be equal volume to the drums, bass, guitar, and their own singing.

This album I am listening to is at -27dB most albums I listen to are closer to -22dB. While listening to some albums that were recorded in the early 90's I have the player at -18dB or so.

Go try it out, find an Original CD made in the early 90's, it is softer but carries range when compared to the square waves of today's loudness.

I recycle title names

I really do to. I put something down, when I think it's short and has nothing to do with the post only to realize that I used that title before.

It happens in writing, but probably not when it's the same author. In video game there have been a few releases that have the same name without the titles being remakes of the other.

Just a thought, they remake movies, video games, songs, yet they don't remake books. There would be some books I just thought of that could, to me be more enjoyable 'remade'. If Edgar Allen Poe could rewrite Hamlet (as story) that would be an interesting read.

People translate the bible all the time, they did it in the 70's with the NIV king james bible. That is a mere translation into modern English, they are doing it again with the tniv or todays new international version, somehow making it more modern for the ever evolving English language. The king james bible itself is a 'translation' of some older version although he probably left stuff out he didn't like, the dude did only convert to Christianity (or was it baptized) on his death bed (factcheckneeded).

The Up Date

June,

it's fun to reenact conversations people have on Facebook. Stuff people say online can sometimes be funny as a real conversation. Cool.

I just tinted the sunroof in my house, it is much cooler in here now, during the summer time this room would often reach temperatures greater than 100 degrees around the clock.

That wasn't intersting.

But this is:
