Why so afraid?

I recently got a new phone, one with a new number. I be smarts enough to transfer my contacts to my new phone by myself, so I don't have to bother anyone on a number change, but there is a problem with this. If I call anyone, no one will pick up, no one. Of all the contacts I called only one picked up, and somehow the person who picked thought it was a prank call.

What is wrong with my friends and family? What is wrong with an unfamiliar phone number that causes them not to pick up? The fear of a short conversation with a stranger? There is so much wrong with this.

The call could have be something a lot more important than a friendly hello. Imagine the situations in which you would get a call from an unknown number. A wrong number? Sure that happens, and is easily resolved. But what if it was an emergency and you needed to be notified. Would you simply decline the call, siding with ignorance? Would you ignore the call from a nurse saying that your friend in the hospital? Would you ignore the call from a good samaritan's strange phone number saying that your daughter was in a car accident?

Save yourself the regret and just pick up the phone.

What is Your Obsession?

Lately I have been searching for the perfect devices to input commands into various computerized systems. For some reason I bought a mechanical keyboard, a Das Ultimate. The purchase does not make any sense. I am pretty much exclusively on my laptop (with a keyboard that I enjoy, very much so), my desktop which could use a new keyboard is severely outdated; it first would need replacing. So because my critical thinking ability, I am out of a new keyboard, out of a material purchase which would truly give me the pleasure of becoming whole. But I am still looking for a new keyboard for some reason. There is this Unicomp Endurapro, which is a reproduction of a IBM Model M13. It's the old clunker with that trackpoint that I love. But since I recovered from affluenza, I began to research about mechanical keyboard. The Endurapro's trackpoint is nothing like a trackpoint, while they (Unicomp) bought the right and patents to recreate the IBM Model M's, they don't have the ability to copy IBM's (slash Lenovo if you must) Trackpoint. Que Sera Sera

Also I just bought another arcade stick. This one is number seven. I have already modified it. Added a roll of pennies for extra weight, covered up unused buttons, swapped some caps, and will now buy a new, more ergonomic panel.

The 'I' count: 11, sorry for wasting your time.
