Thoughts When You Get Old

I thought to myself, "YES!!" as I drove passed the gym which was closed for holidays.

In the evening

I got nothing to write. Nothing at all. NBA Jam TE is a great game. Love that game. It's my jam. Pun intended.

I have been eating hot wings lately. The super hot hot wings. They're addicting and I feel that if I don't eat them for a while, I'll lose my spice eating abilities.

At 7 it's dark.

Waking Up Early With A Hangover

I want to sleep, but i need this haircut. It's been almost two months. Civ VI is out. I didn't buy it yet. This post is about consumption. Not the pre industrial era definition of consumption. TB is not too common today.

First world problems.

A non typewriter post

Ho ho ho.

That's Santa Clause's way of laughing.

Where is this dude from anyway?

In what culture do they laugh with 'ho ho ho'?

Maybe from some other planet or a different species.

But that laugh isn't natural as a human.

And Santa Clause is a human.

That only means one thing.

That laugh is completely fake.

He is so pretentious.

He's a fake ass poser, using that laugh to sound more dignified.

Trying to get in with the upper class white anglo-saxon crowd.

Buying up Rockwell paintings depicting the life that look down upon while also praising.

Next he's be sporting a top hat and monocle.

Don't get me wrong, he does a lot for the community.

It's just... I wish he could be himself.

We won't judge.

Proposed NFL Rule Change: Eliminate Playoff 1st and 2nd Seed Bye Week.

Super bowls have been dominated by 1st and 2nd seeds that get a bye week. It is direct evidence that the bye week provides an unfair advantage for these teams. For the sake of the league I am proposing a rules change.

Remove the first round bye for the 1st and 2nd seeds. In place of their bye, the teams will choose to face any team in their conference. The 1st seed will get the first pick. The 2nd seed will choose from the remaining teams. If either the 1st or 2nd seed chooses to face a team that is already in the playoffs, the seeding will be re-aligned so that 7th and/or 8th placed teams will participate in the playoffs.

This rule change will eliminate the unfair advantage gained by the 1st and 2nd seeds. Two new games will be created per conference.

The 1st and 2nd seeds should still have an advantage. They have home field advantage and have chosen their own opponents.

Fans will enjoy the new games. If they don't like the 1st or 2nd seeds they could route for the chosen teams as they should be the underdog.

Owners will benefit from the new game created.

Listening to music

I need liquid ant bait. Eating breakfast is delicious with orange juice. How is the prison in your chest? Closing tabs in Chrome won't dump the memories. Salty sea water flavors sea weed. Spring pollen coating car dust heavy. Shark teeth biting down on tuna shoulder. Ice wine alcohol drunk dog potion. No love for the poor.

Today I mis-spelled Emails

That isn't actually true. It was more of a grammar mistake. The sentence was, 'I am writing email'. At first, I read it and thought 'ah shit another mistake' sense I sent it in an instant message window. But then I kept reading it. "I am writing email" 'I am writing email'. After a while I thought, what if email was a mass noun. After saying it ten times it started to sound right, passing the ear test. Email being a mass noun would make perfect sense. Then though, why couldn't it be a mass noun? The word is only around 30 years old, I can make that transition. It sounds more regal as a mass noun. Then I thought of why it sounds correct. It hit me of course, because 'mail' is a mass noun.

From now on, I will treat 'email' as a mass noun, just like the word where it was derived from, 'mail'.

Leap Day

Leap day. Every four years. Resets every century. How accurate is this thing?

Honestly, I'd rather not have it. This way as time passes, people will be able to experience their birthdays in different seasons and different climates. What would a winter birthday feel like? I don't know, but I like to know, and if leap days didn't happen, I get to experience it.

Flow.

New year

Time to write in a new year never seen before. Two thousand and sixteen or is it twenty-sixteen? I think the cooler people will say it twenty-sixteen. Honestly 99% of people don't need to be reminded of the current century. The one percent that can afford time machines could probably afford a watch or something. No biggie.
