Ladies when you ask, 'do you like my hair cut?'
And I, or whomever of the male gender replies, 'I didn't realize you got your hair cut'
That is a good thing.
Do not get mad at us because you think we not paying attention to you, seriously. Not realizing you got a hair cut is probably the best complement you can get, for the simple reason that it shows that we like you the way you are, and your hair wasn't bad in the first place.
Cutting your hair changes the way we first noticed you. Any major change will require time to adjust and during that time we are just not used to the way you look. There is a longer, more in depth look at this topic somewhere online, or probably in the back issues of one of your cosmos or seventeen (whatever it is girls read these days).
We realize you hair is very important to you, but not so much to us, as long as you don't change it too drastically.
