If not do so.
What direction did you draw it? Clockwise or counterclockwise (or anti-clockwise)?. And which hand did you draw it with?
Me, being of right hand dominance, drew the circle clockwise. I have asked this of a few other people, and they show the same,
one right handed male chef drew it clockwise.
one right handed female artist drew it clockwise.
one right handed male student drew it counter clockwise.
of the outcome of the male student, another male student and female student also drew a circle CCW (all right hander), but their results will not be included because there might have been some influence of the first student who drew it CCW, and because they knew what I was testing.
quite interesting, in the 'Clockwise' entry of wikipedia, it says:
Most left-handed humans prefer to draw circles clockwise and traverse buildings clockwise, as most right-handed people prefer to draw circles and traverse buildings counterclockwise. It is believed that this can be attributed to a dominant brain hemispheres. [2]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clockwise#In_humans
From the citation:
Theodore H. Blau, The torque test: A measurement of cerebral dominance. 1974, American Psychological Association.
I do not know how factual the information above can be, but given results I have tested, I can not accept this as fact.
I still need results from left handed people.
