Seat Reserved

It's pretty early in the morning, I'm on a bus, there's a lady in front of me drinking a 22 of Steel Reserve.

Lately I have listening to music that I don't fully understand. They are The Pillows, a Japanese rock band or j-rock for that familiar eastern pattern. Being a person who listens to music and a human being, even though I do not understand the language of Japan, their chord patterns, rhythm, and the vocalization of their lyrics can convey a lot of what they are trying of say without needing the ability to understand the meaning of their words.

This weekend I went to California. During that time, there were many parallels between the music I was listening to and the interactions I had. In the end, fully understanding everything around me wasn't needed, it probably made things a part of the journey.
