I have been sick, but yeah so during work I was reminded of something. Someone had trouble 'starting' a banana. She was trying to rip it open from the 'top'.
Years ago, I was at my friend's house. They had bananas and they would rip it open from what I thought was the bottom. This shocked me, it was mind blowing. For all of my life I had never thought that a banana could be opened from the bottom, the part that is away from the stem. But here they were, opening them freely from the bottom, and easily to. So a few days later, at the privacy of my home I got a banana and tried to open it from the bottom. It worked, easily. This caused me to rethink a lot of the 'norms' that were tattooed as 'right'. My cynical character trait of challenging what is normal can be owed to stuff like this.
Ironically, I was searching this up and found that monkeys and apes, our un-evolved cousins open bananas like this; and we're supposed to be the smart ones, the smart ones who thinks there is a top and bottom to everything.
Answer to the title: never the only way.
