Car Alarms - Should this be on the list? I don't really think the sound of car alarms deter any crooks for stealing your car. It might, but that is more associated with the deactivation of vital part than the actual alarm.
Traction Control Systems
LSD (Limited Slip Differential)
Four Wheel Drive
Airbags - They do prevent injury when used correctly, but they can cause injury as well.
Front Wheel Drive - You might be wondering why is front wheel drive higher on the list than 4wd.
ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) - Brakes are as powerful as they need to be for the passenger vehicle. The single most powerful force on just about all moving vehicles, but they have a limitation. Brakes resist the rotation of the wheel. On the other edge of the wheel is the tire, and that tire is the only thing spinning and preferable griping the ground. Upon braking, the tires are limited at a combination of a given speed and force. Beyond this limit the tires will slip (or lock up on braking). The maximum braking potential of a vehicle is the instant before lock up. A vehicle equipped with ABS will sense lock up and lessen the amount of braking power than apply it again repeatedly. This action not only decreases braking distance but also slightly improves the drivers control of the vehicle.
Roll Bar - In a roll over accident, you'd be dead without one. I am not just talking about open top vehicles too, the sedan or minivan you're driving has roll bars integrated into its structure. It's just one more of those things that you forget about but are there to protect you.
Windshield Wipers
Defroster
Head and Brake Lights -
4. Seat Belts - They save lives more than not. Keeping your torso strapped to your seat preventing your head from going through the windscreen upon a sudden stop.
3. Radial Tires - The current standard in tires today which grip, acceleration, and brake better than its cross and bias ply cousins. Invented by Michelin, the radial tire's design allowed it so proved a greater contact patch area. Radial tires are also less prone to blowouts (due both to design and quality at the time), and provided better gas mileage.
2. Mirrors - Another race car innovation that made it to the street. Mirrors give the driver a view of the sides and rear without taking a glance away from the forward direction of movement. The use of mirrors has probably prevented millions of accidents, property damage, injuries and deaths.
1. Safety Glass - The most important innovation of automotive history. Before the induction of safety glass, vehicles were made with normal glass that would shatter into sharp particles cutting all of the occupants inside or no glass at all. At an accident of any speed, the glass shards would accelerate into deadly pieces of shrapnel permanently maiming any soul left in its path. Without safety glass cars would not be in wide use as it would be today.
Stuff not on the list: Volvo's Lane departure warming system, heartbeat detection system

Eerie Coincidence
So on a social networking site, I made semi anonymous profile. Very few people know about my profile, there is some evidence of my real identity, but I try to have it remain a secret. So one day I decide I needed more friends, but one type of friend in particular. That friend must have the same name as my real life identity, I did not need to know the person, in fact it would better if I didn't. One quick search brings up ten name if I recall correctly (the combination of my first and last name is quite common) . I ask for the 'friendship' of three of the members, the only ones with a picture in the avatar. Only one accepts.
Fast forward to today. I learn that it is his birthday. It would not be strange if it was his and only his birthday, ythkg

flavor
You know, some flavors, tastes are a given;
sweet, bitter, sour, salty(savory)
Then you got descriptors of tastes;
acidity, astringent, spicy might be in here.
Then you got completely made up words that are used to describe taste.
Bold? What the hell does bold taste like. I look at a pack of coffee beans, Bold. Bold compared to what? That shity pre-ground robusto mix you sell? What type of person would buy something advertised as bold. Would you buy a Bold McDonald's Sandwich? A lot of Malt Liquor is also advertised as bold. Are you kidding me with this shit, this shit is bold? bold (b
ld)adj. Fearless and daring; courageous. Does that describe food to you? Fuck if I care about my McMuffin being fearless and daring. Does a food item actually have any sort of human characteristics?
The limitations of the English language do not allow this "artistic license" to be tossed around.

That day, when the email mail login I use, is not used anymore, that day will be a sad day.
That day is arriving soon rather then later.
grammer tip: than is used in comparisons, and then is used with time order. I learn that this year.

Contra
Banned, for I am writing. here is a pictor:
I eat most of my food in dishes.
Scrabble eggs are good if you haven't had them in a while.
I have been interrupted maybe, two times.
I prefer my eggs over hard, that's cooked yoke surrounded by a sea of white membrane.
If I haven't noticed I this post is not up to the standard which I live by. That standard is so high that any one person is not able to reach. Just as the egg in the previous story, the egg represents fertility, but in an ironic fashion, having too many eggs, can likely lead to infertility, through high cholesterol.
What is cholesterol? I have been exposed to that word for many moons. I quick search of the word 'cholesterol' is bring me to knowledge that I will find useful and other information that separates the whites from the yokes.

The fancy shit I like.
I go to school, almost every day. At school I write. I write a lot. Sometimes the writing I do is important. At other times not. Having a nice writing utensil is important to me and makes sense. The pens and pencils do not make my writing any better, but they do encourage me to write more compared to a cheap or uncomfortable instrument.
My pen that I use it a Bic Z4. It is great, a roller ball pen, 0.5mm tip, the black is amazing, the contrast it creates with the white paper catches my eye well. The black levels create a problem from being to dark as they are viable through the back page. I would like to get a finer pen of the roller ball family. I also like the Uniball brand. Fountain pens are nice but not for everyday use and travel.
The pencil I use is a Zebra M-301. It is an ultra model which means is has a rubber grip instead of the smooth finish of the non-ultra model. Also in the ultra is a plastic reinforced clip, the clip of the non-ultra model has a tendency to separate from the pen. The pen overall is a fine fine instrument. In an 0.5mm lead setting it writes effortlessly as it glides on paper as though as it were made from silk. A stainless-steel barrel provides comfort and strength. One problem I find is that the lead can not be loaded with out removing the eraser. Which if the eraser is worn down, the pen will have a hard time being loaded. Zebra also has a pen model of the M-301, called the F-301 but I have yet to try it.

About Blogging and Personal pages, unnecessary comma there sorry somehow I can't delete it.
Blogging and personal pages like myspace and facebook goes against my personal beliefs of personal privacy and personally I would like to personally use the word personal as much as I personally can in this personal statement of personality (personally not really per-say personality just personal-ness in a personal general sense of the personal word personal).
Sure, some of you we say, 'you, yourself, chooses what information is available to everyone to see'. That is simply just the surface. The information is never removed completely, one can view any piece of information, view it a different context, and twist the meaning of your expression. Sense for of the internet is in English, the English language being infinitely complex while also being held to confinement by a set dictionary of words, twisting expressions around is not a hard thing to do.
Advertisers prey on your info all the time. They are doing now as I post. The more I give them, the less work they need to do. Though that does have some benefits such as a more targeted ad, which may have an effect on gathering means for the company advertising, boosting financial transactions, and somehow bettering the economy which, in turn somehow betters you.
But in all, most ads are trying to promote a material possession. That material possession irks my other peeve about the society which I live in's need for the bigger, the better, and simply MORE. The myspace MO is to show your wealth, inflat your own stature to help one's 'networking'. That is merely a sidebar.
