I guess you thought that I was going to say, quit using spaces so bits of data could be saved from being transmitted thus eliminating power used in these transfers.

But no really this wouldn't make sense. Spaces improve readability, this improved readability can now convey important messages to people more easily. These important messages could provide details about saving the planet. If un-spaced, the details could remain unnoticed, and the planet doomed.

Although the idea of reducing the size of spaces can help eliminate the amount of paper used, as now more writing can be used to fit on the sheet of paper. This use is only viable on actual paper, on not electronic writing with no intent of being printed.
